• The Accounting Assistant provides support to the accounting department by managing day-to-day financial and administrative operations. • This role ensures that records are accurate, transactions are properly documented, and all accounting processes run smoothly. • The Accounting Assistant works closely with accountants, bookkeepers, and finance staff to maintain compliance and organization across all financial activities. • Record and maintain daily financial transactions in accounting systems. • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports. • Process invoices, receipts, and expense reimbursements. • Reconcile bank statements and verify financial data accuracy. • Help prepare documents for audits and month-end closings. • Manage vendor communications and resolve discrepancies. • Support payroll preparation and data entry tasks. • Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.
• 2+ years of accounting support experience. • Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite. • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. • Proficiency in Excel and data management tools is a plus. • Processor: Intel 11th Gen (or equivalent AMD Ryzen 5000 series) for Windows users and M2 for Macs • RAM: 16 GB minimum • 25 - 50 Mbps Internet Speed (Min) • USB headset with noise-canceling (ideally)
