• This role will be responsible for supporting the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments. • Assist in the processing of vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding, approval, and timely entry into the accounting system. • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner, communicating effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders. • Prepare and process payments to vendors, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers, in accordance with established payment terms and schedules. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records in the accounting system, including contact information, payment terms, and banking details. • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including generating accounts payable reports and reconciliations. • Assist in the preparation of 1099 forms and other tax-related documents for vendors as required. • Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining accounts payable procedures and enhancing overall efficiency.
• 2+ years of proven experience in accounts payable, finance, or related roles is advantageous. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP). • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams. • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Technical Requirements Processor: Intel 11th Gen (or equivalent AMD Ryzen 5000 series) for Windows users and M2 for Macs • RAM: 16 GB minimum • 25 - 50 Mbps Internet Speed (Minimum)
