📋 Description

• Provide clinical oversight of Advanced Practice Providers remotely through telehealth and electronic communication • Review charts and patient records treated by the APP • Consult with the APP and remain available during normal business hours • Meet with the APP at least monthly for synchronous consultation and collaboration • Provide direct patient care and other services requested by the APP or practice • Identify and comply with federal and state-specific collaboration requirements • Participate in credentialing when requested • Provide patient education and referrals based on assessed patient needs and abilities • Help develop and implement care and treatment protocols, standards, policies, and procedures • Use technology effectively and reliably in care delivery • Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and other clinical and non-clinical leaders

🎯 Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school • Active, unrestricted medical license in New York and New Jersey • Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Psychiatry with 1+ year of documented experience in substance use disorder treatment • Board Certification in Addiction Medicine (ABAM/ASAM) or Addiction Psychiatry is strongly preferred • Controlled Substance Registration, if required in accordance with state regulations • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration in the state of practice • Willingness to enter into a formal Collaborative Practice Agreement with APPs in accordance with state regulations • Meet credentialing requirements where assigned • Ability to be credentialed with Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers as necessary
