• Perform Epic application system analysis and design, including requirements, specifications, configuration, documentation, testing, and implementation • Provide Epic application support, troubleshooting, training, and reporting • Support and troubleshoot integrated third-party and other non-Epic applications • Serve as a liaison between delivery groups, clients, vendors, and Epic modules • Conduct advanced Epic application design analysis, implementation planning, and application benefit optimization • Mentor teammates in issue resolution, issue tracking, and updates to peers, leadership, and clients • Manage assigned projects and meet deadlines • Conduct complex work independently • Plan and conduct requirements gathering and detailed design sessions for Epic projects and requests • Analyze client business needs and application functionality • Develop reference materials, status reports, documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials • Advocate for department initiatives and processes • Support application change management, communications, contingency planning, change events, and post-change reporting
• Epic Orders Certification required • Epic ASAP Certification desired • Must obtain and maintain a minimum of three vendor and/or industry certifications/proficiencies as determined by management • Must maintain certification/proficiency in applicable Epic module(s) • Minimum of 4 years of related experience • Associate's degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, or business, or 2 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree • Monday–Friday standard business hours availability • Flexibility beyond standard hours, including participation in an after-hours on-call rotation • Occasional travel • Ability to conduct highly complex work independently with extensive latitude for independent judgment
