📋 Description

• Manage pre-award activities and perform post-award activities • Provide research administration oversight for personnel, payroll, budgeting, and operations management • Oversee the department’s research administration and identify areas for improvement • Prepare, monitor, analyze, manage, and report research division budgets • Supervise and train others in grant and contract proposal submissions • Oversee submission and post-award activities for research or clinical trial studies as needed • Supervise payroll, assign payroll to appropriate sources, and implement activity tracking systems • Supervise purchasing to ensure maximum utilization of funds • Prepare and manage the annual salary planning process • Communicate and administer policies and procedures to faculty and staff • Monitor compliance with internal and external research policies and procedures • Maintain personnel records and oversee employee scheduling, evaluations, and personnel matters • Review applications, conduct interviews, hire, and make hiring recommendations • Review non-academic appointments to maintain appropriate job descriptions, titles, and salaries • Recommend and participate in developing and implementing decisions, policies, procedures, best practices, and innovations • Maintain efficient workflow procedures and train staff • Maintain professional public relations and handle complaints • Serve as liaison between the Department, School, University, outside agencies, and collaborative institutions on research activities • Complete special projects as directed by senior leadership • Organize and attend meetings and conferences and participate in Departmental and University committees • Maintain confidential files

🎯 Requirements
