📋 Description

• Lead efforts to design, innovate, and implement solutions improving pharmacy systems and processes • Advocate for customers, understand pharmacy business needs, and identify improvement and productivity opportunities • Manage enterprise relationships and facilitate optimal solutions with internal teams and vendors • Maintain understanding of database structures and business intelligence tools to create analytical solutions • Serve as the first point of contact for pharmacy data analytics and process improvement • Perform data analysis and create queries, programs, and automation • Ensure reported data is meaningful and accurate through analytical methods • Use Tableau, Microsoft Office Suite, SAP products, and other systems and tools for data analytics • Evaluate pharmacy analytic tools and practices and improve or automate processes • Maintain and utilize a pharmacy database for complex drug purchase and utilization analysis • Lead data requirements gathering, problem identification, resolution, and solution design • Provide analytical insights to drive strategic business decisions • Coordinate cross-functional projects and pharmacy customer tasks • Identify, document, and escalate project issues, barriers, risks, and scope changes • Implement project changes according to change-control policies and procedures • Communicate project nature, significance, and risks to stakeholders • Participate in post-implementation project reviews • Gather customer requirements and translate business needs into actionable solutions • Maintain and test tracking software and system databases • Update databases for drug formulary and product specification changes • Safeguard system integrity • Support departmental goals, objectives, productivity initiatives, meetings, committees, task forces, and projects • Provide drug usage information, identify spending irregularities, and recommend alternative products

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Hospital Administration, or related field • Two (2) years of experience in pharmacy or data analytics • Two (2) years of experience working with relational database structures, including design, testing, troubleshooting problems and/or training • Two (2) years of experience in data analysis and/or health care planning background, preferably in Pharmacy • Two (2) years of experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports • Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL/Oracle) and/or Business Objects • EPIC official designation of “Proficient” within the new hire probationary period • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information • Ability to work independently or cooperatively as a team member • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary groups and facilitate meetings • Reading and comprehension ability • Ability to type • Ability to read and write legibly in English • Good oral and written communication skills • Ability to prioritize tasks • Independent decision-making ability • Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment • Flexibility
