📋 Description

• Support the operational efficiency of the Pharmacy Department through fiscal management, data analysis, and maintenance of departmental statistics and reports • Develop databases and manage projects using cost accounting and IT skills • Coordinate billing, accounting, financial processes, and internal control compliance • Review medication purchases, revenue, contract pharmacy fees, forecasts, budgets, expenses, pricing, invoices, shipping, and inventory processes • Lead and coordinate System 340B entities in Split Billing Hospital Owned and Contract Pharmacy tracking • Analyze 340B savings, accumulation levels, utilization, compliance, and cost-efficiency opportunities • Generate financial, budget, reconciliation, pharmacy spend advisor, and year-end reports • Provide data for performance improvement related to drug utilization, purchasing, billing, and reimbursement • Reconcile expenditure documentation with the hospital general ledger and rectify errors • Identify irregular spending and system failures and report findings to department leadership • Collaborate with pharmacy management, hospital departments, vendors, and the System Director of Pharmacies • Support budgets, external audits, departmental goals, change initiatives, meetings, committees, task forces, and projects • Educate 340B professionals on Split Billing, Split Matching, and Contract Pharmacy relationships • Maintain financial records, policy and procedure documentation, safeguards, and system integrity

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Hospital Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field, and two years of experience in pharmacy or healthcare, or one year of experience with pharmacy financial reporting • Associate degree in a related field, and four years of experience in pharmacy or healthcare, or three years of experience with pharmacy financial reporting • High school diploma and eight years' experience in a healthcare setting • Two years of experience in a professional capacity in healthcare, preferably in Pharmacy • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Excel and Access • Ability to walk and stand for long periods • Ability to lift 30 pounds and push 50 pounds • Dexterity to finger, handle, and reach
