📋 Description

• Provide financial and compliance analyses to support organizational leaders across WVU Medicine • Create and compile reports supporting decision-making for outpatient services across the health system • Analyze new department creation related to CMS provider-based and RHC regulations • Provide ad hoc financial analysis on clinic reimbursement impact for hospitals across the health system • Respond to requests and resolve problems raised by department leadership, IT, clinical departments, and support staff • Interpret and advise stakeholders on CMS provider-based compliance per 42 CFR 413.65 • Identify and interpret legislation impacting provider-based billing • Coordinate and perform onsite gap assessments for provider-based clinics and RHCs as needed • Educate hospital and system personnel on WVU Medicine best practices related to provider-based requirements • Conduct and participate in business meetings with clinical leadership • Create and improve reporting packages, provide ongoing support, and track projects • Serve as the department’s first point of contact and interface with hospital leadership and staff • Support problem identification, resolution, and solution design for business needs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field • 1-2 years experience in a healthcare setting • Significant experience with various software platforms including Tableau and Microsoft Office, with focus on Excel, Word, & PowerPoint • Ability to analyze information related to CMS provider-based and RHC regulations • Knowledge of CMS provider-based compliance per 42 CFR 413.65 • Ability to identify and interpret legislation impacting provider-based billing • Ability to use analytical methods to ensure reported data is meaningful and accurate • Ability to develop technical ability in data analytics using various systems and tools • Ability to communicate business concepts into actionable and meaningful terms
