📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable, secure infrastructure systems deployable across AWS, Azure, OCI, SaaS, and on-prem environments • Tune and optimize compute, storage, networking, and observability services • Develop core services in TypeScript, Kotlin, and Go • Support large-scale systems with event-driven architectures • Own problems end-to-end from design through deployment and production support • Help define engineering practices and infrastructure design • Partner with engineers, AI researchers, and security researchers • Implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies • Improve how services are built, deployed, and monitored at scale

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience building and operating scalable, distributed systems on cloud infrastructure such as AWS or similar • Extensive experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes • Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or CDK • Experience with event-driven architectures, message queues, or asynchronous workflows, such as Kafka • Track record of performance tuning across cloud services, databases, and compute layers • Ability and eagerness to learn new tools, languages, and technologies • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with incomplete information • Experience implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup and navigating ambiguity • Experience deploying infrastructure across SaaS and on-prem environments (bonus) • Familiarity with observability practices including logs, metrics, and tracing (bonus) • Experience in an early-stage startup (bonus) • Prior experience building developer tooling or security products (bonus) • Hands-on experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch at scale (bonus) • Previous experience building platform teams or internal developer platforms (bonus)
