📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive cybersecurity tool-monitoring responsibilities • Analyze IPS events to reduce false-positive alerts and recommend tuning that improves protection of network assets • Develop and implement approved automated response and threat-reporting capabilities • Minimize potential impact and support rapid incident response • Document monitoring results, issues, and recommendations • Coordinate required tickets or corrective actions • Support oversight of SIPR tools from an authorized Government location when assigned duties require SIPR access • Apply LCAT expertise in information-assurance scanning and Tier 2 troubleshooting or cybersecurity engineering to IPS monitoring and tuning

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience • Must be a U.S. Citizen • Active Secret clearance when assigned duties require classified information or SIPRNet access • Expertise in information-assurance scanning and Tier 2 troubleshooting or cybersecurity engineering, as applicable to the assigned labor category • Ability to support SIPR tools from an authorized Government location when assigned duties require SIPR access
