📋 Description

• Lead and mentor the Subscriptions engineering team across backend services • Own architectural decisions, technical planning, and project delivery timelines • Provide reliable ETAs, monitor delivery progress, and ensure SLA commitments • Develop and maintain subscription services in PHP and Go • Guide refactoring and modernization of legacy PHP codebases • Improve system scalability, performance, and operational reliability • Partner with Product, QA, and DevOps to ensure smooth releases and stable production environments • Foster best engineering practices, code quality, and technical documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years backend engineering experience (PHP and/or Go) • Proven experience leading teams, managing delivery, and owning SLAs • Background in working with legacy PHP, migrations, and modernization • Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and database optimization • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability • Strong communication and leadership skills
