📋 Description

• Independently draft and negotiate enterprise-level business development and commercial contracts • Serve as the key person identifying and resolving privacy and personal-data issues • Architect and negotiate AI licensing agreements • Apply deep commercial expertise to align legal solutions with business goals • Advance company objectives by balancing speed with risk • Demonstrate strong, self-managing drive to take responsibility • Collaborate with other departments to execute agreements

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and state bar membership in good standing • 8+ years of experience as an attorney (In-house counsel experience is a big plus) • Proven track record in complex technology transactions and business development at a very high level • Deep, Applied Privacy Expertise: Years of hands-on experience with privacy and data-protection regimes • Extensive knowledge of SaaS contract law and IP law • Enough Technical Literacy to Spot the Risk: A working grasp of how data moves, APIs, data feeds, databases, and privacy exposure • True Negotiation Skills: A track record of actively negotiating complex agreements • Strong work ethic, team player mentality, and experience working cross-functionally with multiple teams
