📋 Description

• Develop a yearly personal growth plan focused on spiritual development, prayer, reflection, church relationships, and understanding God’s Word • Actively participate in the spiritual life of the Young Life community and lead teams and individuals in spiritual development • Meet regularly with volunteer leaders and area leadership • Recruit and train new leaders and build a leadership team reflecting the community • Model contact work, club, Campaigners, and camping for other leaders • Raise financial support and maintain donor care practices • Communicate ministry updates and progress to personal donor partners • Assist with camp fundraisers and attend occasional committee and adult functions • Engage in all three levels of contact work • Help conduct Young Life club and Campaigners/discipleship ministry • Help implement summer and school-season camping strategies • Potentially serve on summer staff or assigned staff at a Young Life property • Adhere to Young Life policies and procedures and maintain professionalism • Set and review yearly ministry and personal goals and objectives • Assist with office administration when necessary • Complete expense reports clearly and on time • Perform other duties assigned and congruent with gifts, experience, and area needs • Complete area assignments under the supervision of the area director or assigned mentor • Receive training in spiritual maturity, personal character, ministry skills, area strategy, ministry health, and part-time staff fundraising principles

🎯 Requirements

• Pursuing a college degree • Proven relational skills with both kids and adults • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Must profess belief in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord • Must subscribe to Young Life’s Statement of Faith and required staff policies • Must be ready, willing, and able to fulfill ministry functions as required • Must abide by Young Life policies and practices
