📋 Description

• Provide RN-level therapeutic counseling, supportive behavioral health interventions, and psychoeducation within a collaborative psychiatric provider team • Conduct psychiatric nursing assessments and support individualized behavioral health treatment plans • Assist patients experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders • Apply evidence-based approaches, including motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and therapeutic communication • Facilitate structured psychoeducational groups as needed • Prepare accurate clinical documentation and high-quality clinical summary letters • Collaborate with psychiatric providers to support patient progress, care coordination, and continuity of treatment • Deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive care through secure telehealth platforms

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license with authorization to practice in the state where patients are located • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required • Minimum 3 years of behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience • Demonstrated experience in therapeutic counseling, behavioral health interventions, and patient psychoeducation • Experience working with patients diagnosed with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders • Exceptional clinical writing skills, including the ability to prepare detailed, professional clinical summary letters • Strong proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR), Microsoft Word, Excel, and telehealth technology • Excellent interpersonal communication, clinical judgment, organizational skills, and patient engagement abilities • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary psychiatric team • All clinical services must remain within the RN's authorized professional scope of practice
