📋 Description

• Diagnose and repair designated products across multiple service territories through continuous travel • Perform preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades according to training, manuals, and Carl Zeiss Meditec guidelines • Schedule, create, verify, and modify customer visits across extensive geographic regions • Assess customers' needs, including potential financial impact to practices and patients' well-being • Complete and submit daily field service reports from customer locations • Complete and submit weekly travel expense reports • Maintain and transport spare parts inventory while traveling • Support revenue growth through promotion and retention of service agreements • Interface professionally with customers across diverse geographic locations and regional business cultures • Instruct customers on operation and maintenance of equipment • Travel continuously by automobile and air across assigned territories and internationally • Support training, meetings, exhibit activities, and coverage across multiple territories • Maintain responsibility for company-issued property including inventory, tools, diagnostic equipment, and vehicle • Collaborate with teams, customers, management, Sales, and Technical Support while working from customer sites

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in Electronics, Fine Mechanics, Optics or Medical Field Service with demonstrated travel experience • Proven ability to work effectively while traveling 100% of the time • Ability to think through difficult customer issues and generate satisfactory customer satisfaction results while operating independently in remote locations • Must be self-directed and able to work independently with limited management oversight across multiple time zones and geographic regions • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong computer skills and proficiency with mobile technology and remote access systems • Must be able to pass required training to service fine mechanics and optics • Ability to effectively service equipment while traveling continuously • Advanced project and time management skills • Valid passport required for international travel • Must have a valid driver's license and exemplary driving record • Must be able to obtain sufficient credit to cover substantial incurred business expenses • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • BS in Electronics, Engineering, or Computer Technology and related fields preferred • A+ and Net+ certification preferred • Must be comfortable with extended periods away from home and various accommodations and working conditions • Must maintain flexibility for weekend and holiday travel
