📋 Description

• Own the accounts payable cycle, including processing and coding vendor invoices, verifying approvals, and preparing payment runs • Manage the accounts receivable cycle, including customer invoicing, collections, cash application, and outstanding-balance follow-up • Prepare and issue accurate, timely customer invoices and resolve billing questions and discrepancies • Perform daily and monthly bank and cash reconciliations • Review and process employee expense reports and administer the corporate card program • Assist with timely and accurate month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules • Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and clear reconciling items for Controller review • Support annual financial statement audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses to auditor requests • Maintain and improve accounting policies, internal controls, and process documentation • Streamline and automate accounting workflows using AI and modern tools • Support special projects, system improvements, and cross-functional initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally spanning AP, AR, billing, and general ledger • Solid working knowledge of US GAAP and full-cycle accounting • Hands-on experience with cloud accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets • Experience with Ramp • Strong attention to detail and organization • Ability to meet close deadlines and manage competing priorities • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Judgment to investigate and resolve discrepancies independently • Clear, professional communication skills • Collaborative, ownership-driven mindset • Track record of using automation or AI tools to save time and improve accuracy • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, remote-first environment • CPA (or working toward it) is nice to have • Experience at a high-growth technology or SaaS company is nice to have • Familiarity with revenue recognition (ASC 606) and SaaS billing workflows is nice to have
