📋 Description

• Provide quotes and routes for inland container movements • Secure rates for inland container movements • Facilitate inland movement of containers via rail, truck, and barge • Set up invoices in SAP • Transmit rail bills • Provide accurate quotes and rates for intermodal freight, bids, and spot business • Support commercial efforts by finding cost-effective and efficient routing • Recommend alternate routing when preferred • Negotiate rates with truckers for spot business and new routes • Update ZIMAPS quarterly and maintain missing costs • Maintain routing and route preference order in IQ Ship • Create routes when auto routing is missing, expired, or illogical • Update missing route costs • Manage day-to-day changes to specific vendors and routing • Execute and manage rail billings and resolve problems • Optimize inland routing • Respond timely to Commercial Team routing requests • Use the least expensive trucker • Resolve unrouted requisitions within 1 day when the B/L is valid but the route does not exist • Resolve unrouted requisitions within 2 days when a manifest correction is required • Resolve manual TOs so none are over 1 week old • Process rail bill requests within 2 hours of receipt

🎯 Requirements

• High School Degree required • Bachelor’s degree is a plus • 3 years’ experience preferred in various LOG operating positions • Logistics / Operation experience in the Container Shipping industry is a plus
