📋 Description

• Build and maintain relationships with local governments, public works departments, utilities, community leaders, chambers of commerce, economic development councils, and community groups • Support network expansion by navigating permitting, right-of-way, construction coordination, and community issues • Serve as a liaison across multiple jurisdictions and provide local insight to internal teams • Support local leadership in resolving right-of-way, permitting, pole attachment/joint use, and related issues • Track field issues, inquiries, and complaint-resolution performance • Meet with mayors, city council members, county commissioners, administrators, and staff to communicate Ziply Fiber’s vision and plans and obtain support for initiatives • Act as the principal contact for Network Operations on local government issues and constituent inquiries • Work with residents and businesses to resolve construction-related issues and create mutually beneficial solutions • Support active build areas by coordinating with cities, counties, and communities • Lead and manage projects and tasks while representing Ziply Fiber • Perform other duties required to support the business and evolving organization

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • 3–5 years’ experience working in a customer support centric environment • Demonstrated experience working directly with local governments, public works departments, utilities, and/or agencies involved in right-of-way, permitting, construction oversight, or municipal coordination • Experience navigating governmental processes, municipal codes, public works standards, and utility coordination requirements across multiple jurisdictions • Public policy/compliance implementation experience • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Applications • Ability to lead and manage projects and tasks while effectively representing Ziply Fiber • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record • Relevant training or experience may be considered in lieu of a preferred bachelor’s degree • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US for any employer • Must demonstrate a high degree of personal and professional integrity • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams • Strong problem-solving, partnership, collaboration, verbal and written communication, analytical, organizational, and customer service skills • Extensive portfolio of relationships across state and local government • Ability to work within critical deadlines and adjust to rapidly changing priorities and schedules • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
