📋 Description

• Own the mission, execution, morale, and code quality of the team • Partner with product managers to maintain and execute the product roadmap • Remove roadblocks, identify and implement process improvements, and delegate effectively • Build community and culture throughout the engineering organization • Develop, coach, motivate, and improve the team by leading by example • Champion and evolve innovation at ZipRecruiter and evangelize BIG ideas

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a fast-paced software development environment at scale • 2+ years of experience as a software engineering leader • Experience developing high-traffic full-stack web or data applications • 3+ years of engineering management experience preferred • Demonstrated experience innovating novel approaches and solutions to ambiguous problems preferred • BS/MS/PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field preferred
