📋 Description

• Determine liability by gathering and analyzing relevant facts and applying applicable procedures • Determine policy verification and coverage by analyzing applicable claim coverage • Determine whether losses fall within policy coverage • Participate in Risk Management Agency-initiated reviews and referrals for operational integrity and quality assurance • Protect Zurich’s reputation by keeping claims information confidential • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational opportunities, industry-trend awareness, personal networking, and professional societies • Travel within the assigned territory and outside it to assist with workloads • Participate on CAT teams • Provide remote assistance for Crop Claims Care Center calls and/or CCP Claims

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more months of experience in the agricultural area for Crop Claims Field Adjuster I • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the agricultural or crop insurance industry for Crop Claims Specialist • Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire date • Reliable personal transportation and travel within territory • Personal transportation and travel within assigned territory and outside the assigned area to assist with workloads, participate on CAT team, and/or provide remote assistance • Ability to walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles • Ability to climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet • Ability to lift 25 lbs to 50 lbs • Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills • Strong organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills • Must live within 50 miles of Beadle, Jerauld, Sanborn, Brule, Aurora, Davison, Buffalo, or Hand counties in South Dakota • Employment sponsorship is not offered
