📋 Description

• Gather and analyze relevant facts to determine liability using applicable procedures • Analyze applicable policy coverage and determine whether losses fall within coverage • Participate in Risk Management Agency-initiated reviews and referrals for operational integrity and quality assurance • Protect Zurich’s reputation by keeping claims information confidential • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational opportunities, industry trends, personal networks, and professional societies • Travel within the assigned territory and potentially outside it to assist with workloads, participate on CAT teams, and provide remote assistance for claims calls

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more months of experience in the agricultural area for Crop Claims Field Adjuster I • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the agricultural or crop insurance industry for Crop Claims Specialist • Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire date • Reliable/personal transportation • Travel within assigned territory; Crop Claims Specialist may travel outside assigned area to assist with workloads, participate on CAT team, and provide remote assistance • Ability to walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles • Ability to climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet • Ability to lift 25 lbs to 50 lbs • Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures/weather conditions • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills • Strong organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills • Must reside within 50 miles in the state of Kentucky • No employment sponsorship offered
