📋 Description

• Provide field risk engineering to meet underwriting requirements • Develop and implement customer service strategies that reduce loss and improve customer operations • Provide engineering support to the underwriting team by attending client broker meetings • Perform field engineering services, primarily for larger locations on accounts and/or prospects within the region • Deliver advanced property consultative services to customers • Identify exposures with significant loss potential • Investigate the cause and effect of major losses and property management programs • Assist in marketing Zurich risk transfer insurance products with underwriting professionals and agents across company business segments

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 6 or more years of experience within the Risk Engineering area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience within the Risk Engineering area • Experience with Microsoft Office • Experience working in a team environment • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Fire Science, or related degree • Preferred: HPR property experience • Preferred: Loss Control/Risk Engineering experience within the insurance industry • Preferred: Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) • Preferred: Strong communication and consultative skills • Preferred: Outstanding collaborative skills • Preferred: History of working successfully in a team environment • Preferred: High degree of proficiency related to PC and software or systems • Expected travel 25–35% • Employment sponsorship is not offered • Must comply with applicable U.S. work authorization requirements
