📋 Description

• Review shipment documentation and prepare U.S. customs release entries for processing • Classify goods under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTSUS) • Communicate with clients to clear shipments, provide status updates, and resolve documentation issues or customs holds • Ensure shipments are released, classified, and billed accurately and on time • Respond to inquiries by phone, email, and internal channels • Prepare import documentation in compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations • Maintain working knowledge of ports of entry across the U.S. and Canada • Support other operational tasks as needed • Meet or exceed department clearance KPIs

🎯 Requirements

• Previous customs entry release experience • Experience processing entries across multiple modes: highway, rail, air, and ocean • Strong accuracy and ability to handle large volumes of work under deadlines • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload • Strong customer service and communication skills • Experience with Softwood Lumber Entries preferred • CCS designation or Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) certification preferred • Experience working with Partner Government Agencies, such as FDA and USDA, preferred
