📋 Description

• Build data and measurement foundations connecting consumer acquisition activity across paid media, SEO/AEO and growth channels to signup, conversion and GMV outcomes • Build reliable pipelines, identity and event data systems, attribution and conversion measurement, and integrations across marketing and data ecosystems • Own and deliver quarterly team goals • Lead engineers through ambiguous, open-ended problems and support delivery • Collaborate with product management, design and analytics on ideation, technical constraints, risks and trade-offs • Identify and lead resolution of project, process, technology and business issues • Create and monitor operational metrics, escalate issues and support on-call efforts • Set and improve code review and design standards; advocate through writing and tech talks • Develop team talent through feedback, guidance and leading by example • Partner with Engineering, Product, Marketing, Analytics and Data Engineering to incorporate consent, tagging, identity and consumer-data requirements into measurement architecture

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale • Experience using Python or Kotlin • Track record developing highly available distributed systems • Experience with AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes • Hands-on experience building marketing data and measurement systems • Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM/sGTM), GA4, advertising and conversion APIs, customer data platforms, attribution or mobile measurement platforms, and consent management platforms • Experience building production data pipelines and analytical models with Snowflake, dbt and Airflow • Experience with event-level data, identity resolution, attribution or conversion measurement • Experience defining technical plans for significant features or system components • Ability to write high-quality, understandable, extensible code • Proficiency making significant changes in a large codebase safely • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Must reside in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, or Saskatchewan
