📋 Description

• Provide technical advice to customers, including commissioning, installing, and testing products/equipment • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, improvements, system upgrades, and installations • Establish and maintain high customer satisfaction • Respond promptly to customer concerns and resolve quality assurance and medical safety issues • Manage the daily schedule and maintain accurate, timely communication with customers, dispatchers, managers, and regional and cross-functional teams • Complete administrative responsibilities accurately and on time • Assist the sales team, clinical team, and internal team, including other on-site service representatives • Manage inventory, maintain accurate records, and return unused and defective parts • Promote and sell maintenance contract offerings and assist the sales team within the assigned territory

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree in electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Strong background in electronics, electricity, and mechanics • Willingness to work a variable schedule on short notice to meet customer demand • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and SharePoint • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past three years • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proven experience in exceptional customer service • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and plan work-related activities • Problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and professional communication in a fast-paced, high-pressure, customer-focused environment • Self-motivated, able to travel and work independently with minimal supervision • Two years of hands-on experience with advanced medical devices and medical lasers • Proven technical support skills and effective decision-making abilities • Experience connecting medical devices to hospital networks • Working knowledge of ServiceMax/Salesforce • Ability to work independently 20% of the time and in the field 80% of the time • Ability to travel overnight 50% of the time or as needed • Must reside in Alberta (preferred) or Manitoba • Previous experience working in a hospital operating room and knowledge of surgical center protocols (preferred) • Bachelor’s degree in technology or engineering and training or experience in IT (preferred)
