📋 Description

• Own AlphaSense’s Excel plugin strategy • Build the bridge between AlphaSense’s AI platform and Microsoft Excel • Ship a plugin used by thousands of analysts at leading financial institutions • Make AI-powered research as simple as typing an Excel formula • Eliminate context-switching between Excel and research platforms • Establish the technical foundation and best practices for the Office integration strategy • Mentor a team of engineers in desktop development • Raise quality and performance standards for the product

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years building and operating large scale production systems • Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern development practices • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, state management, and event-driven architectures • Experience with enterprise software deployment, updates, and version management • Track record of building performant applications with excellent error handling and recovery • Excellence in debugging complex integration issues and memory/performance optimization • Ability to mentor teams and establish development best practices • Production experience with Office JavaScript API, VSTO, or COM add-ins preferred • Knowledge of Excel's calculation engine, object model, and common power-user patterns preferred • Understanding of financial modeling, data analysis workflows, or trading systems preferred • Experience with React/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks preferred • Background in building offline-capable applications with sync mechanisms preferred • Experience with WebSocket, real-time data feeds, or streaming architectures preferred • Experience with Office JavaScript API / Office Add-ins framework • Experience with TypeScript, React, and modern frontend tooling • Experience with enterprise authentication (SSO, OAuth, SAML) • Experience supporting Windows and Mac • No educational credential is specified
