📋 Description

• Manage the new hire experience from offer acceptance through onboarding • Coordinate new hire communications and pre-boarding • Lead new hire orientation • Own and support payroll processing, employee changes, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee questions • Improve People Operations workflows using AI and automation • Serve as the first point of contact for questions about pay, benefits, policies, and People processes • Escalate complex employee issues as needed • Maintain FAQs, policy guides, and internal resources • Handle sensitive employee information confidentially • Coordinate system access and equipment for new hires and departing employees • Order laptops and support account, tool, and permission provisioning and deprovisioning with IT • Maintain employee records across HRIS and related systems • Troubleshoot basic access and systems issues • Partner with the VP of People on AI and automation opportunities • Pilot and implement tools and workflows • Support future HRIS selection and implementation, including requirements evaluation, data migration, workflow testing, rollout, and adoption • Build scalable People processes and documentation as the company grows

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of People Operations, HR, or related experience • Ideally experience in a high-growth, early-stage startup environment • Hands-on experience with onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee support, and HR systems • Experience working with HRIS platforms and People systems • Experience supporting an HRIS implementation or migration is a plus • Experience managing EOR relationships and coordinating onboarding and offboarding across the Americas (AMER) • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Judgment and discretion to handle sensitive and confidential employee information • Comfortable operating within a lean People team, managing competing priorities, and adapting quickly • Curious about AI and automation and motivated to simplify workflows, reduce manual work, and improve People Operations
