📋 Description

• Lead complex advisory engagements focused on evaluating and optimizing healthcare revenue cycle operations, financial performance, and athenaOne workflows. • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive sponsors, revenue cycle leaders, and operational stakeholders by developing strategic recommendations that align technology capabilities with organizational goals. • Conduct executive-level operational assessments, workflow analyses, and maturity evaluations to identify opportunities for process improvement, organizational transformation, and financial optimization. • Analyze operational, financial, and workflow performance metrics to identify trends and recommend strategies that improve key performance indicators such as clean claim rate, denial rate, days in accounts receivable, net collection rate, and patient financial experience. • Partner with Customer Success, Product Management, Implementation, and Support teams to ensure advisory recommendations align with broader customer strategies and athenahealth product capabilities. • Mentor consultants, contribute to the development of consulting methodologies, and support continuous improvement of Advisory Services offerings.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Health Information Management, or a related field, or an equivalent experience. • 5-7 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, healthcare operations, consulting, or advisory services. • 3+ years leading complex consulting engagements, enterprise initiatives, or cross-functional healthcare transformation projects. • Demonstrated expertise across the full revenue cycle, including patient access, insurance verification, charge capture, coding, claims management, denial prevention, payment posting, accounts receivable management, patient collections, and reimbursement optimization. • Deep understanding of ambulatory healthcare operations, physician practice management, payer reimbursement methodologies, and healthcare financial performance. • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting operational, financial, and performance data to develop strategic recommendations. • Exceptional communication, facilitation, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
