📋 Description

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise DevOps and cloud infrastructure solutions • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions • Partner with software engineering, quality engineering, and product teams to deliver secure, highly available platforms • Drive automation across infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, deployments, monitoring, and operational processes • Support software build, release, and deployment activities across development, integration, validation, and production environments • Implement and maintain monitoring, observability, logging, and alerting solutions • Champion DevSecOps practices and security throughout the software development lifecycle • Design and support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies • Ensure architectures incorporate Security-by-Design and Privacy-by-Design principles • Collaborate with test automation teams on performance, scalability, and reliability testing capabilities • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues across the software delivery lifecycle • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements • Mentor engineers and share DevOps best practices • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver operational and technical initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience • 8+ years of experience in DevOps and Platform Engineering • Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices preferred • Experience leading technical initiatives and influencing engineering strategy within complex enterprise environments • Demonstrated success building and operating large-scale CI/CD platforms and release automation frameworks • Strong experience with cloud platforms, primarily AWS and secondarily Azure • Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar technologies • Strong understanding of modern DevOps, DevSecOps, and SRE principles and practices • Experience with configuration management and automation tools • Strong scripting and automation capabilities using Python, Shell, Java, or similar technologies • Experience administering and securing Linux and enterprise infrastructure environments • Knowledge of system hardening, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and cybersecurity best practices • Equivalent practical experience may substitute for the listed degree, at the Department Head's discretion
