📋 Description

• Deliver operational processes and activities relating to collateral management in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations • Perform collateral safekeeping, tracking/reporting, perfections, continuations and releases • Provide advice and guidance to assigned business/group on solution implementation • Develop solutions and recommendations based on business strategy and stakeholder needs • Determine business priorities and execution sequencing • Support strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders • Respond to standard and non-standard inquiries from internal business partners and external customers • Build effective stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment • Integrate information from multiple sources to improve processes, analysis and reporting • Identify, analyze and resolve issues or escalate as required • Build and participate in change management plans and activities • Execute timely, accurate and efficient service while meeting SLAs • Provide input into operational program planning and implementation • Assist with scheduling, resource forecasting and team workflow coordination • Assign work, review output, support performance reviews, quality control, training and coaching as needed • Process routine and non-routine transactions, inquiries, requests and audit/reconciliation activities • Analyze and resolve complex issues and act as backup to team members and the manager • Evaluate exceptions and engage senior management for resolution • Serve as a problem-solving resource for junior staff • Identify business needs and design/develop tools and training programs • Act as day-to-day vendor contact and support vendor solution implementation and maintenance • Contribute to continuous improvement and participate in project, product and process testing and implementation • Process transactions and services accurately while managing regulatory and risk controls • Follow documented policies and procedures and maintain Service Level Agreements • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders • Check and reconcile information and documentation for accuracy and completeness • Maintain understanding of regulatory requirements and operational risks • Apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework and make sound, risk-informed decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience • In-depth knowledge and experience using relevant systems and technology • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the business unit’s key products and services, processes and controls • In-depth knowledge of the risk and regulatory requirements of the business • Good prioritization skills • In-depth customer service skills • Advanced PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Prompt writing skills • Experience using data, automation, or AI tools to enhance productivity is an asset • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while supporting process improvement and automation efforts • Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience • In-depth verbal and written communication skills, including ability to explain automation and AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Ability to identify business use cases for automation • In-depth collaboration and team skills • In-depth analytical and problem-solving skills • In-depth influence skills • In-depth data-driven decision-making skills • Understanding of risk and regulatory requirements and AI governance, with ability to apply AI to maintain up-to-date knowledge
