📋 Description

• Support operational processes for timely and accurate settlement of security, derivative, foreign exchange, and money market transactions executed globally • Provide pre- and post-settlement support for account opening, confirmation, cash management, margin, and collateralization • Support specialized operations including asset servicing, corporate actions/entitlements, correspondent banking services, and wire payment operations • Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements • Gather and format data for regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards • Support change management execution and sustainment activities • Serve as a problem-solving resource for junior staff • Organize work information for accuracy and completeness • Execute service requests, transactions, and queries within service-level agreements • Follow policies and procedures and check and reconcile information and documentation • Analyze data and provide insights and recommendations • Identify and resolve issues and discrepancies, escalating as required • Deal directly with clients to resolve issues • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders • Maintain stakeholder relationships and meet service delivery expectations • Understand regulatory requirements and operational risks • Collaborate on new processes, systems, and improvements • Support development of tools and delivery of training • Complete complex and diverse tasks and handle escalations • Apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework and make risk-informed decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Typically 2–3 years of relevant experience • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study desirable, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Knowledge and experience using relevant systems and technology • Knowledge and understanding of business unit products, services, processes, and controls • Knowledge of risk and regulatory requirements • Prioritization skills • Customer service skills • PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Specialized knowledge • Good verbal and written communication skills • Good organization skills • Good collaboration and team skills • Good analytical and problem-solving skills • Exposure to reconciliation processes and/or accounting principles considered an asset • Basic understanding of Corporate Actions, particularly income events • Fresh graduates and recent post-secondary graduates are welcome to apply
