📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain efficient legal workflows and processes • Manage the legal department’s ticketing system to streamline requests and intake • Work with Legal and Procurement to streamline contract review and approval processes • Manage the legal department’s annual budget, spend tracking, financial forecasting, monthly metrics tracker, and departmental reports • Oversee legal vendor and outside counsel relationships • Negotiate competitive fee arrangements and manage billing guidelines • Track vendor and outside counsel performance against defined metrics • Evaluate, implement, and manage legal technology tools including CLM, e-billing, and document management systems • Drive adoption and maximize the value of legal technology • Create and maintain centralized legal knowledge bases, standardized templates, and playbooks • Lead cross-functional projects involving Legal, Finance, Compliance, HR, Procurement, and other internal teams • Manage complex transitions such as migrating from one contract system to a new platform • Provide operational support for compliance initiatives, internal and external audits, and tracking key regulatory requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Technology, or Legal Studies • 6+ years of experience in Legal Operations or a similar function within an in-house legal department • Proven expertise implementing and managing legal technology solutions, including CLM, e-billing, and document management • Strong analytical, financial, and legal budget management skills • Expertise with legal budgeting and contract management tools such as SimpleLegal and Lexion • Excellent project management and communication skills • Track record of successfully leading cross-functional initiatives • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Must not require visa sponsorship to work in the United States
