📋 Description

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions for complex POS and Retail IT projects • Oversee implementation, testing, certification, and retail rollouts • Ensure technology aligns with business processes and project objectives • Contribute to the POS roadmap • Provide technical guidance to junior team members • Execute POS testing and solution validation activities • Provide advanced technical support to team members and vendors • Support integrated retail solutions that interact with POS systems • Coach and mentor junior team members through knowledge sharing and technical guidance • Collaborate with System Analyst team members, Technology functions, In Store Solutions, Home and Building Solutions, and Local Co-ops • Report to the Manager, Ag and Home POS

🎯 Requirements

• 3-6 years of relevant experience with multiple Point-of-Sale software and hardware, including Point-of-Sale related solutions experience • A Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field; a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered • Familiarity with relational databases • Familiarity with operating systems • Familiarity with PCI • Familiarity with retail POS infrastructure • Experience with payment systems, DIY, Food, Fuel platforms, register platforms, and self-checkout systems considered an asset • May be required to complete a criminal background check • Ability to work remotely from within Canada
