• Valid provincial general insurance license, or willingness to obtain one • Meet ongoing licensing and continuing education requirements • Experience in commercial or personal lines insurance • Experience running your own business • Background in financial services, banking, B2B sales, account management, or business development • Experience in client-facing advisory or relationship-management roles • Ability to build trusted relationships and convert them into sustainable business growth • Strong sales and business-development mindset • Comfort prospecting, networking, and creating opportunity • Clear, confident communication • Strong organization and disciplined follow-through • Client-first, advice-based approach to helping businesses manage risk • Resilience, accountability, and self-motivation • Ability to operate independently while upholding Co-operators' values, brand standards, and client-first approach • Comprehensive background, credit, and eligibility checks required
