📋 Description

• Participate in enforcing compliance with current permits • Ensure environmental data is collected and reported in a timely fashion • Develop environmental reports • Review technical documents • Establish monitoring schedules and procedures to meet permit requirements and company standards • Advise on environmental programs and practices to ensure compliance with environmental laws and permits • Provide training for environmental monitoring technicians and contractors • Compile and review data to identify trends and maintain site compliance • Participate in proactive environmental projects supporting reclamation and environmental management of the mine site • Promote a safety culture through participation in daily, weekly, and monthly safety meetings • Perform ongoing inspections and risk assessments to identify and address unsafe conditions or workplace hazards • Ensure employee performance and activities follow safe processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in hydrology, environmental science, civil engineering, environmental engineering, or related equivalent • Ten (10) years of progressive experience in Environmental roles • Mining, Oil and Gas, or Heavy Industrial experience preferred • Strong problem-solving skills • Ability to develop and foster strong working relationships • Strong sense of integrity and ethics • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work with a diverse cross-cultural workforce • Willingness to work a two-week rotation schedule with 12-hour shifts per day at a remote camp
