📋 Description

• Respond to inbound telephone inquiries and concerns using approved procedures and guidelines • Answer questions about child support payment histories and account histories • Reset caller personal identification when callers cannot self-serve in the Interactive Voice Response system • Gather information, research and resolve inquiries, and document customer calls • Read and interpret documents on file • Retain and apply a large amount of information • Answer and respond professionally to escalated calls • Communicate appropriate resolution options promptly • Review customer needs and inform customers about available services and resources • Handle inquiries for the New Jersey Department of Human Services Office of Child Support via inbound calls

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or GED • Background and drug screening required • 2 years of high-volume call center or Customer Service experience • Computer system experience with data entry and database documentation knowledge • Typing speed of 30 WPM • Two screens/monitors required • Own equipment required; Mac is not compatible • Internet speed of at least 400 Mbps • Intel Core i5 or higher or AMD Ryzen 5 5000 or higher processor • Laptop or desktop with a 14-inch screen or higher; external 20-inch or higher recommended • Windows 10 64-bit operating system • Minimum 8 GB RAM; 16 GB recommended • Ethernet cable 50 feet or longer • English and Spanish required for bilingual roles
