📋 Description

• Provide leadership to critical aspects of billing operations • Manage smaller teams responsible for day-to-day operations • Develop a team focused on electronic eligibility responses, timely claims billing, accurate payment posting and optimized insurance follow-up • Create process documentation to ensure efficient, accurate and compliant billing workflows • Collaborate with business leadership to provide consistent billing guidance • Improve the clean claim rate • Monitor KPIs and report on variances, risks and process improvement opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5–7 years of professional experience in healthcare management leading a team of individual contributors • Experience overseeing projects and processes requiring complex resolution within short- and long-term timelines • Experience working with legal and compliance partners to maintain proper billing and coding guidelines • Baseline discipline experience as a business analyst, report writer, project manager or similar role • Ability to monitor KPIs and report on variances, risks and process improvement opportunities • Epic Professional Billing (PB Resolute) experience preferred • Epic PB reporting experience using Slicer Dicer and Workbench Reporting preferred • AAPC certification (CPB, CPC or CRC) preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) preferred • Ability to analyze and interpret status and outcome reports to provide actionable insights to senior leadership preferred
