📋 Description

• Oversee multiple concurrent small to medium client implementation projects across K12, Corporate and Higher Education • Determine client requirements and translate them into operational plans • Assess clients’ technical readiness and plan software installation and configuration • Propose, design, develop and deploy standard products and custom technical solutions • Design, configure, deploy and test integrations between D2L products and Student Information Systems and Human Resources Systems • Keep current with technology trends to facilitate client learning solutions • Maintain familiarity with D2L Web Services APIs to support custom integrations • Develop and manage project schedules and budgets and obtain client and D2L approvals/signoffs • Plan, schedule, monitor and report project activities, financial health, risks, issues, changes and deliverables • Conduct regular status review meetings with project teams and clients • Prepare and present project status reports to management and clients • Develop project controls and reporting procedures and manage operational-plan changes • Identify, assess and communicate risks and implement mitigation strategies • Interact with internal and external stakeholders through communication plans • Manage client expectations while balancing client needs and D2L interests • Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned with the leader and project teams • Leverage AI project-management tools for scheduling, forecasting, risk identification and documentation • Explore AI-assisted innovations to improve productivity and data-driven decision-making across the project lifecycle

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in project management and/or implementation consulting, preferably software/web solution implementation projects • Professional services/customer service project management and/or implementation consulting experience required • Strong knowledge of project management practices, procedures and principles • Familiarity with the end-to-end project lifecycle, from business case definition and requirements/architecture through development and implementation • Knowledge of information technology, systems development lifecycle, business modelling, and systems integration/implementation methodologies • Ability to multitask across many concurrent projects • Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills • Ability to work proactively and independently • Excellent client-facing written and oral communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to leverage AI and automation tools for decision-making, workflow improvement and data-backed project insights • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Applied Science, Engineering, or equivalent mix of education and relevant experience • Project Management certification such as PMP or CAPM considered an asset
