📋 Description

• Identify and vet specialty physicians across all specialties, including Orthopedic Surgeons, Neurologists, and PM&R physicians • Ensure full physician network coverage in California • Recruit physicians for healthcare, insurance, IME, Workers’ Compensation, and medicolegal needs • Negotiate with and pitch high-level medical specialists • Analyze computer-platform data to identify network gaps and physician fee trends • Manage work involving prolonged sitting and computer use

🎯 Requirements

• Physician recruitment experience in a healthcare or insurance setting, or equivalent transferable skill set • 3+ years in physician recruitment, specifically within the IME, Workers’ Compensation, or medicolegal space • 2–5 years in healthcare recruitment, provider relations, or medical-legal services • Working knowledge of physician networks, recruitment, medical specialties, and medical terminology • Strong negotiation, critical thinking, organizational, and time-management skills • Ability to meet specific deadlines • Computer literacy and typing skills • Familiarity with the California DWC, QME/AME process, and Medical-Legal Fee Schedule • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Cold-calling and pitching skills • Ability to communicate with high-level medical specialists • Ability to use computer platforms and data to analyze network gaps and physician fee trends • Ability to supply and support personal internet services • Uninterrupted internet connection for work-from-home employment • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
