📋 Description

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and analyze Eos commercial BESS and third-party products in the field • Provide remote customer support via email, telephone, and remote support tools, as well as conduct site visits • Review and resolve warranty claims and assist customers with non-warranty issues • Support services and maintenance of existing systems • Use Field Service and Work Order Management tools to retrieve and update information accurately and promptly • Write reports, train customers, and respond to concerns about system functionality and performance • Develop detailed knowledge of Eos commercial and third-party products • Conduct acceptance and performance testing, troubleshooting, installation, startups, shutdowns, commissioning, and turnarounds of BESS • Work regularly with high-voltage DC electricity, three-phase power, and relevant BESS software • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities as needed

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Minimum of one to three (1-3) year of (field) experience in Electrical/Electronics/Power electronics and or network communications is recommended • Trade or vocational college focusing on electrical work/renewable energy/electronics preferred • Prior experience in the renewable industry, preferable energy storage, is strongly preferred • Experience in applied problem-solving methodology • Electrical safety training, NFPA70E or similar • Medium Voltage/Substation experience is a plus • Solid computer skills: Windows and Office; PLC/programming and controls experience a plus • Awareness of electrical, crane, forklift, and construction work safety • Understanding of DC electrical systems and controls • Knowledge of electrical voltage meters and electrical testing equipment • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code • Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work at field installations up to 100% of working time for up to three weeks at a time • Ability to work at great heights and in extreme environments; perform prolonged periods of repetitive duties; frequently lift at least 50 pounds • Ability to work independently and collaborate with senior field service technicians and engineers as needed • Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and high level of accuracy
