📋 Description

• Run the Payments business day-to-day and deliver in-year P&L impact across Payments and Financial Services • Own weekly, monthly, P&L, and KPI operating reviews with FP&A and Data & Analytics • Own TPV and revenue forecasts; monitor net revenue, TPV, and Payments-attached-user targets and close performance gaps • Translate performance insights into executive-ready recommendations • Lead high-value Payments initiatives including surcharging, repricing, AutoPay, Optimized Payments/interchange, BNPL, and embedded partner launches • Manage the Payments portfolio, prioritize initiatives, influence resources, and hold partners accountable • Own payouts, reconciliation, processor and payout workflows, and cost/error/support-volume automation • Oversee 1099 operations, compliance reviews, and PayFac sub-merchant controls for chargebacks, fraud, and merchant-default monitoring • Own vendor and partner onboarding and operational performance, including uptime, SLAs, security, and compliance • Manage Stripe relationships and support partner/vendor negotiations with BNPL providers, processors, and card networks • Steward external advisor and consultant engagements • Own high-value customer strategy, strategic pricing, repricing, and pricing guardrails • Balance customer growth, margin discipline, and PayFac sub-merchant risk • Partner across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Support, and Risk to drive outcomes • Chair Payments leadership forums and represent the business in cross-LOB and executive forums • Partner with Risk and Finance on risk strategy, guardrails, compliance, and regulatory obligations • Track payments and fintech ecosystem developments and translate them into action and strategy • Own sub-12-month strategy and partner with the GM on annual and 2027 planning • Contribute to positioning, PMM, GTM, adjacent product expansion, business cases, ROI models, and post-launch accountability

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in payments, fintech, embedded finance, or SaaS financial services, including demonstrated commercial ownership of revenue, margin, pricing, or partner economics • Deep, hands-on understanding of processing and interchange, PayFac/sub-merchant models, BNPL, TPV and attach-rate dynamics, pricing, repricing, and margin management • Proven experience owning or delivering to a P&L • Strong financial and analytical acumen • Track record leading cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Support, and Risk • Experience managing external partners, processors, or networks such as Stripe, card networks, and BNPL providers • Strong executive communication and influencing skills without direct authority • Ability to operate strategically and tactically in a dynamic, fast-paced environment • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
