📋 Description

• Lead operators, supervisors, and regional support personnel across Canada and the United States, including direct employees and contract crews • Own hiring, onboarding, on-the-job training, competency progression, succession planning, and retention • Own daily execution of core scanning operations, uptime, throughput, and field quality across assigned sites • Lead field safety compliance and hold contractors to the same standards as direct employees • Lead escalation and resolution of operational risks affecting delivery, productivity, or customer commitments • Support commissioning, mobilization, and stabilization of new projects and scanner deployments • Manage KPIs for throughput, utilization, downtime, cost, and service quality; report regional performance to senior leadership • Partner with Project Managers to meet customer commitments, turnaround times, and project outcomes • Coordinate Regional Operations, Project Management, Fleet Performance, Engineering, Technical Operations, and H&S interfaces • Support regional financial results through labor efficiency, cost control, resource planning, and capacity optimization • Identify customer expansion opportunities and support business development • Implement CMMS, training platforms, operational controls, continuous improvement programs, and standardized processes • Travel approximately 30–40% to project and mine sites across Canada and the United States; occasional international travel may be required

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Operations, Mining, Geology, Business, or a related field; equivalent operational leadership experience will be strongly considered • 8+ years of progressive leadership in field operations, industrial services, mining, energy, manufacturing, or a comparable environment • Field operations leadership experience in both Canada and the United States • Proven leadership of a multi-site field workforce, including performance management, coaching, employee development, succession planning, and building frontline leaders • Experience leading a blended workforce of direct employees and contractors • Demonstrated experience managing remote, dispersed field teams • Strong, visible safety leadership, with working knowledge of Canadian provincial and US federal and state mine safety requirements • Demonstrated capability managing quality and safety outcomes in the field • Ability to manage operational performance using KPIs, structured reviews, root-cause problem solving, and continuous improvement practices • Regional resource leadership including cost control, resource planning, and operational KPI management • Experience implementing CMMS, SOPs, training systems, and continuous improvement programs • Strong stakeholder management across operations, project management, engineering, customers, and senior leadership • Legal authorization to work in Canada and ability to travel to the United States for business
