📋 Description

• Build, professionalize, and scale ClearGov’s project management function from the ground up • Build, hire, and lead a high-performing team of Project Managers and Implementation Managers • Establish career pathing, performance management, coaching frameworks, and onboarding programs • Foster accountability, client-centricity, and continuous improvement • Serve as a hands-on player-coach in project delivery and team development • Stand up the formal PMO governance model, methodology, and delivery playbooks for public sector implementations • Design standardized project charters, implementation plans, status reports, RAID logs, and change orders • Define and improve intake-to-close delivery workflows • Establish KPIs and dashboards for project health, resource utilization, on-time/on-budget delivery, and client satisfaction • Serve as a senior escalation point for at-risk or high-visibility government client implementations • Partner with agency leadership, CFOs, procurement stakeholders, and other client stakeholders • Lead executive-level status reviews and steering committee meetings • Influence and optimize the PMO tool stack • Ensure clean data flow and reporting between CSM, Support, Sales, and Delivery systems • Own KPIs including backlog, at-risk reporting, projected go-live dates, and budgets versus actuals • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering on handoffs and client commitments • Provide input into resourcing models and hiring plans as the company scales toward $150M ARR • Contribute to pricing and packaging of services, SOW standardization, delivery capacity planning, and operational scalability initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in project/program management, with 3+ years in a PMO leadership or team management capacity • Experience in SaaS, ideally with GovTech, public sector, or highly regulated environments • Demonstrated success building or scaling a PMO function from an early or informal stage into a structured, repeatable practice • Track record of managing and growing a team of PMs/Implementation Managers, including hiring, coaching, and performance management • Direct experience with Salesforce, Rocketlane, ChurnZero or comparable implementation/PS tools, and Gong or comparable call intelligence platforms • Experience managing client escalations at the executive level, ideally with government or public sector clients • Strong understanding of Agile and traditional/Waterfall methodologies • Builder mentality and comfort creating structure and process where none exists • Excellent executive presence • Strong financial/operational acumen, including utilization, margin, resourcing, and forecasting • Ability to de-escalate tense client situations • Data-driven approach and ability to translate metrics into action • Passion for public sector, mission-driven work • Ability to excel in a player-coach role • Preferred: PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification • Preferred: Experience with public sector procurement cycles, RFPs, and government contracting nuances • Preferred: Prior experience in a company scaling through hypergrowth or a PE-backed company
