📋 Description

• Execute tactical day-to-day transportation operations for an assigned business area within the North America Logistics Team • Assign and tender shipments to carriers using load planning and transportation management systems • Execute spot market decisions when routing guide capacity is exhausted or unavailable • Interact daily with carriers to identify and resolve service issues • Organize and consolidate LTL shipments into truckloads where applicable while reducing transportation expense • Monitor shipments for on-time pickup and delivery • Support shipping locations with rush shipment arrangements and issue resolution • Liaise between Sales/Customer Service, Plant Operations, and Procurement stakeholders • Support SOP, training, KPI, continuous improvement, and project work • Monitor and manage load-level costs, including accessorial review and approvals • Support ad-hoc TMS system administration, including payable tariffs, rates, and routing guides • Assist as backup/backfill with other logistics roles • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) • 2-5 years of relevant experience • Knowledge of transportation industries, logistics operations, and shipping/receiving processes • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Strong time management skills • Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or other relevant software • Working knowledge of a Transportation Management System; E2Open preferred
