📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients, digital leaders, solution architects, and technical and functional leads across Guidehouse digital teams and market segments • Support client engagements, growth initiatives, and capability development • Serve as a key member of the modernization team • Address technical challenges, deliver demonstrations, and build innovative solution prototypes using cloud architectures and modern software technologies • Provide hands-on full-stack engineering for scalable, secure, distributed systems • Use modern programming languages, cloud-native and microservices architectures, containerization, and API-first design patterns • Collaborate with UX designers, platform engineers, product owners, solution architects, and business analysts • Design, build, test, and deploy high-value, operationally resilient software products on AWS • Meet functional and non-functional requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in full-stack application development • Bachelor’s degree required, or a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree • Minimum of three (3) years of experience developing cloud applications on AWS • Experience implementing frontend and backend services for cloud-native software products using Python, JavaScript, Django, and Vue.js • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript • Django experience preferred; equivalent experience with Flask, FastAPI, Falcon, or SQLAlchemy may be considered • Vue.js experience preferred; equivalent experience with React, Svelte, or Angular version 1.6 or higher may be considered • Ability to work independently while collaborating with, mentoring, and supporting team members • Ability to develop software products and solution prototypes and communicate design trade-offs • In-depth understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile practices and principles • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship • Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder) • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust; approved adjudication required prior to onboarding • AWS Certified Developer certification preferred • AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification preferred • Nice-to-have experience with Flask, Docker, Amazon EKS/Kubernetes, AWS Step Functions, Amazon EventBridge, AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, Elasticsearch, Redis, Memcached, Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB • Familiarity with AWS SAM, Model-View-Controller design patterns, and AWS Well-Architected Framework principles • Proficiency with modern CI/CD pipeline tooling • Hands-on AWS cloud software development or engineering experience • Experience designing, building, testing, and deploying software on AWS • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
