📋 Description

• Design, prepare and update spreadsheets and cost models in Excel for resource planning, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis • Prepare monthly reporting packages comparing actual financials with budgets for internal management review • Investigate cost variances and collaborate with business unit stakeholders to identify root causes and cost-reduction opportunities • Identify, measure and track KPIs and operational and financial metrics • Perform impromptu budgetary investigations • Identify continuous improvement opportunities in reports and processes • Improve report content and streamline production and distribution • Troubleshoot reporting issues and data anomalies • Design concise, organized, professional and easily modifiable and distributable reports • Support the organization’s financial health through critical analyses identifying cost savings and process-streamlining opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience • 2 years of experience in audit, accounting or FP&A • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, or related field • 4 years of related experience including budgeting and forecasting • Ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to present clean, organized and thorough information appropriate for intended audience • Ability to develop insightful, value-added and actionable analyses with detailed explanations regarding drivers of results • Ability to produce unambiguous, comprehensive and accurate interpretations • Self-motivated work style • Ability to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment • May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test • Employees and visitors are expected to comply with GXO policies regarding COVID safety
