📋 Description

• Support multiple business divisions and general ledger accounts • Assist with the Great Plains to Oracle ERP conversion • Develop, implement, and/or maintain accounting systems • Prepare and enter daily and month-end journal entries • Perform general ledger account reconciliations and research differences • Review bank activity and support contract billing • Participate in the monthly close process • Assist with quarter- and year-end audits • Support accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue reconciliation, and financial reporting • Identify discrepancies and collaborate with cross-functional teams • Act as a liaison with other departments regarding accounting information • Participate in special projects and escalate issues as appropriate

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting • 4+ years of experience preferred • General Ledger experience, including journal entries and account reconciliations • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs • Proficiency in Microsoft Word • Knowledge of public accounting principles and practices • Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills • Ability to manage deadlines and customer satisfaction • Ability to work independently and in a team-driven environment • Knowledge of Oracle Financial software preferred but not required • Experience migrating from Great Plains to Oracle preferred but not required • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information • Familiarity with GAAP and Federal and State regulations • Must be flexible, customer focused, proactive, detailed, and results oriented
