📋 Description

• Partner with Level 2 or 3 Clinical Application Specialists and Medical Affairs to learn training and certification criteria for J&J Vision medical devices • Complete medical affairs training and understand training materials and manuals • Gain field experience through partnering with Field Support Trainers and Regional Managers • Coordinate and execute clinical training and certification for end-user clinicians on Refractive Laser and Cataract Laser equipment • Ensure user certification complies with regulatory guidelines and HCC • Partner with Field Support Trainers and fellow Clinical Application Specialists to provide clinical and technical training, certification, and support • Observe clinical education activities for ophthalmic and optometric healthcare professionals and technical staff • Observe fellow Clinical Application Specialists in the field to understand customer, sales, and service team relationships • Coordinate, collect, and manage safety reporting data and clearly and accurately report results

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is preferred • Minimum of 5 years experience in clinical ophthalmology is strongly preferred • Experience in the Cataract and/or LASIK surgery suites preferably working with J&J products is preferred • Ability to travel up to 70% domestically is required • Knowledge of Health Canada-approved messaging and certification criteria • Clinical and technical training experience for ophthalmic and optometric healthcare professionals and technical staff • Cataract Surgery • LASIK Eye Surgery • Ophthalmology
