📋 Description

• Provide clinical and technical support to customers within an assigned territory • Deliver on-site clinical applications training and coordinate customer appointments, travel, training schedules, and follow-up support • Collaborate with Account Managers, Field Service Engineers, and internal teams to address customer needs and resolve clinical and technical issues • Support installation, configuration, and deployment of ZEISS equipment, digital products, and connectivity solutions • Perform data transfer, system integration, site assessments, and troubleshooting • Provide clinical and technical support to surgeons in the Operating Room during surgical procedures • Liaise between customers and ZEISS and coordinate internal resources for timely resolution of inquiries • Maintain product and technology knowledge and provide ongoing customer education and support • Identify and communicate potential sales opportunities to the Account Management team • Adapt to territory realignment • Maintain CRM, training records, CPOs, and expense reporting in accordance with ZEISS procedures, GMP, ISO 9001, and applicable regulations • Set up and provide instruction on ZEISS equipment at conventions and seminars • Complete other management-assigned projects

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree preferably in engineering or life sciences • Knowledge of the diagnostic and surgical ophthalmology industry, including related capital equipment, considered an asset • At least three to five (3-5) years of experience in an ophthalmology clinical and Operating Room settings or in the diagnostic ophthalmology industry or comparable experience considered an asset • Fluent in English • French is preferred • Proven experience implementing and configuring networking equipment, such as routers, switches and access points • Understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, VLAN, and DNS • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with customers in challenging situations required • Ability to follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing data or situations • Ability to travel overnight and work occasional weekends • Well organized and capable of working independently with minimal supervision • Requires valid driver's license • Must be comfortable working in operating room environments and providing support during surgical procedures in accordance with hospital protocols and safety requirements • Ability to work in a multicultural business environment • Ability to lift and/or move products up to 80 lbs • Travel over weekends and holidays, including domestic and international travel, up to 80%
