📋 Description

• Lead and manage sales and use engagements performed within the SALT Group • Ensure accurate and timely deliverables while providing strategic oversight • Exercise sound judgment in managing day-to-day client matters independently • Create an environment where managers, seniors, and staff are challenged, coached, and developed into future leaders • Develop and enhance technical understanding of SALT specialty areas • Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture within the SALT practice • Serve as Firm technical resource for multistate sales and use tax issues • Lead sales and use tax practice initiatives, process improvements, and service offerings • Collaborate across service lines to identify integrated client solutions • Champion continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies, AI tools, and workflow enhancements • Represent the firm through speaking, publications, and professional organizations

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 10 calendar years of state and local tax experience • CPA or CMI preferred • Proficiency in complex state and local tax research • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting and/or taxation, or advanced degree (e.g., law degree) and related work experience • Minimum of forty hours of continuing professional education is required each year to maintain and develop technical and business skills • Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and developing high-performing teams • Proficiency in use of tax compliance software, legal research software, and suite of Microsoft Office programs.
